HESBIA BRICKWORK REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMSHesbia lintels are designed to be a fully concealed masonry lintel. The idea of Hesbia (which stands for Holds Every Size Brick In Australia) is that it provides Architects and Designers the opportunity to use conventional masonry as a load bearing beam.
The Hesbia system is placed into the first uninterrupted course of masonry above an opening, thus providing the opportunity to have a clean face of brick work as a support / lintel. Any size brick can be used, provided it has a width of at least 90mm and a Characteristic Compressive Strength of at least 15Mpa. Hesbia Lintels provide a clean and cost effective way of producing reinforced masonry without the need for ugly and costly exposed lintels. See the accompanying technical information. |
